Product Designer
UNA Brands, Bengaluru, Karnataka – (Jan 2022 - Present)
- As a Product Designer at UNA Brands in Bengaluru, Karnataka, I had the opportunity to design "Theia," a SaaS tool (super app) that focused on optimising user experiences and functionality. I played a key role in conceptualising and creating the UI/UX designs for DTC ecommerce websites, where my designs significantly enhanced user engagement and conversion rates. Additionally, I had the privilege of revamping the UI/UX for Shopify D2C brands, which resulted in an elevated online presence and improved brand perception.
- In my role, I conducted extensive research, managed UX design, branding, and UI design for various DTC brands. I collaborated with cross-functional teams to ensure that the designs aligned with the brand's goals and objectives. To validate the effectiveness of the designs, I conducted rigorous testing and gathered valuable user feedback, which helped inform iterative improvements.
- Furthermore, I developed comprehensive case studies and sitemaps for ecommerce websites. These case studies provided strategic insights and direction for the brands, enabling them to make informed decisions and optimize their online presence. Through my work, I demonstrated my ability to apply a strategic approach to design and development, resulting in successful outcomes for the brands I worked with.
Senior Frontend Developer

- In my role as a Senior frontend developer at UNA Brands, I had the opportunity to develop "Theia," a SaaS tool using Next.js and Material-UI. This powerful combination allowed me to create a highly functional and visually appealing tool that optimised user experiences and functionality.
- Next.js provided a robust framework for building the frontend of Theia, offering features such as server-side rendering and static site generation. This resulted in improved performance and enhanced user engagement.
- To create a cohesive and polished user interface, I utilised Material-UI. This UI library provided a wide range of pre-built components and styling options, making it easy to create a consistent and visually appealing design. The responsive design capabilities of Material-UI ensured that Theia looked great and performed seamlessly across different devices and screen sizes.
- By leveraging the capabilities of Next.js and Material-UI, I was able to design and develop a powerful and user-friendly tool that met the needs of our clients and contributed to the overall success of UNA Brands.
- I developed and customised Shopify themes using Liquid programming, resulting in visually stunning and high-performing e-commerce websites.
